Rusting Away

The exposure of time for this image was over 4 minutes. To me, it was important that the sea was perfectly flat, that the setting sun was adding some colour to the water and that any reflections and shadows, emphasised what used to be a fishing boat. The early evening colours also complimented the rusting hull perfectly. Whilst it is sad to see a grand old boat being left to decay,  it does make for a wonderful focal point.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all of the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
