Riccaldale Bells

Each May the Bluebells bloom in the valleys around Helmsley. They can be found in their tens of thousands in Ashdale, Beckdale and Riccaldale along with countless other places. No wonder then that many people visit to see them. They really do transform the landscape for a few wonderful weeks before disappearing. From a photography perspective they make a wonderful subject, especially when you frame them with the old trees that stand proudly in what used to valleys filled with glacial ice.

Canon Photo Paper Pro Platinum – A 300 gsm paper with a glossy finish which produces a professional studio finish with superior vividness.
 
Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth – A 310gsm paper with a smooth matte finish, which enables excellent colour expression of deep blacks, fine gradation and rich colours.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all of the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
