Over The Edge

Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls can be found just south of Staffin on the Isle of Skye. The viewpoint is literally only a few steps from the car park. Getting there is the easy part. To create an image, especially a long exposure then you are going to need to position your tripod very carefully on top of the 90-meter-high cliffs. Go there on a day when there is a gale blowing out of the east and the shot becomes virtually impossible to take, however you will probably be rewarded with the unique sight of the waterfall appearing to flow back up the cliff!

Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth – A 310gsm paper with a smooth matte finish, which enables excellent colour expression of deep blacks, fine gradation and rich colours.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all of the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
