Misty Yawns

I had given up hope of capturing any sort of image on this morning back in 2018. The light across the North York Moors had been great, yet I had struggled to take an image that showed off the splendour on the conditions that I had been presented with. Driving back towards Helmsley, I notice that some early morning mist was still in the valley bottom near the village of Rievaulx. A quick detour and this composition revealed itself.
