Helmsley Savana

As a photographer, I sometimes find myself in unusual and hard to reach places in order to create a composition. Getting to this location only took 5 minutes or so, that was the easy part. To get the sun correctly aligned between the two trees was a lot harder. In order to get into the perfect position, I needed to pick my way and even crawl through a black thorn hedge. Was it worth the spelks and scratches? In my opinion yes, it reminds me of an African Savana, hence the name of the image. Thankfully through we don't have to worry about bumping into Lions or Tigers on the North York Moors!

Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth – A 310gsm paper with a smooth matte finish, which enables excellent colour expression of deep blacks, fine gradation and rich colours.

*Please note, due to the aspect ratio of the image, not all the paper will be filled with the image. This also allows you space to put a border around the image without losing any of the detail when framing.
